Coinbase is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel, Privacy to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that Coinbase's privacy practices are legally compliant and aligned with our commitment to protecting user data. This is a remote position based in the UK.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Provide legal guidance and oversight on privacy-related matters, including data protection, privacy policies, and compliance with relevant regulations.,Work closely with the Privacy team to ensure that Coinbase's privacy practices are in line with legal requirements and industry standards.,Review and advise on data processing agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents related to privacy.,Monitor regulatory developments and advise on potential risks and opportunities.,Represent Coinbase in privacy-related discussions with regulators, industry bodies, and other stakeholders.,Ensure that Coinbase's privacy practices are communicated effectively to employees, users, and other stakeholders.,Oversee the development and implementation of privacy policies and procedures.,Provide training and guidance to employees on privacy-related matters.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.,Minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy law, with a focus on data protection and privacy regulations.,Strong understanding of data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant privacy laws.,Experience in providing legal advice and guidance on privacy-related matters.,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.,Experience in working in a remote environment is a plus.
